The Week’s Biggest Winner & Loser
Nvidia (NVDA)
It doesn’t seem to matter how much the naysayers go after Nvidia (NVDA), whenever there’s the slightest pullback, the buyers rush in to buy this AI darling.
Nvidia rallied +5.20% on what was a pretty dismal week, locking in its spot as the week’s Biggest Winner.
Rivian (RIVN)
Rivian (RIVN) announced a convertible bond offering this week – funds it needs in order to bridge the gap to making the upcoming SUV crossover.
However, investors did not take kindly to RIVN taking on more debt, sending the stock crashing -22.08% where it parked in the spot of the week’s Biggest Loser.

This Week’s Moves
Brookfield Corp (BN): Added to Position
Brookfield Corp (BN) kicked off October breaking support and selling through my next price target which filled on Monday at $30.23, adding 6.66% to the allocation and lowering my per-share cost -1.51% from $32.44 to $31.95.
From here, my next buy target is $28.38, slightly above BN’s low from 2022, and my next sell target remains just under Brookfield’s all-time high at $49.94
BN closed the week at $30.55, up +1.06% from where I added on Monday.
Nike (NKE): Dividend Reinvestment
Nike (NKE) paid out its quarterly dividend on Tuesday which, after reinvestment, raised my per-share “cost” +0.38% from -$10.49 to $10.45 (a negative per-share cost indicates all capital has been removed in addition to $10.45 per share added to the portfolio’s bottom line in addition to each share’s current value).
The reason my per-share cost was raised is because there are now more shares splitting the same amount of profit. The position has become more profitable because of the additional shares, but the per-share “cost” is higher because of the additional shares.
From here, my next buy target is $89.62, right above Nike’s recent low, and my next sell target is $166.72, around a key point of resistance where NKE will have also outgrown the target position allocation for the portfolio.
See you next week!
