The Week’s Biggest Winner & Loser
Golden Minerals (AUMN)
Golden Minerals (AUMN) and the rest of the commodities space finally saw their turnaround this week when the price of the precious metals started rising. AUMN popped +15.38% over the week and even landed itself the spot of the Week’s Biggest Winner.
Palantir (PLTR)
While not terrible, Palantir Technologies’ (PLTR) earnings report revealed that while the company remains profitable, the runaway growth that has dragged the stock price so high in the past might not be sustainable… for the moment. The memesters did not like this and sent the stock down -12.19%, the Biggest Loser in the portfolio this week.

This Week’s Moves
Canadian Palladium (DCNNF): Added to Position
After days of this pink-sheet super-speculative commodity play repeatedly hitting my limit-buy price but not filling, Canadian Palladium (DCNNF) finally filled my buy order on Monday with an order going through at $0.0513.
The buy lowered my per-share cost -6.67% from $0.0825 to $0.0770. From here, my next buy target is $0.0457, the next point of support, and my sell target is $0.1427, slightly below its most recent high.\
REMINDER: Canadian Palladium (DCNNF) is one of three highly-speculative penny-stock commodities plays in the Speculation in Play portfolio. All three are incredibly volatile and I expect all three to go to zero in value. Because of this, I am allocating a tiny amount of money to them – no more than I’d consider losing on lottery tickets… because that’s what they are. I’m playing with them just to demonstrate how insane penny-stocks are and I do not advise anyone buy them for any reason.
DCNNF closed the week at $0.0531, up +3.51% from where I added Monday.
DraftKings (DKNG): Added to Position
DraftKings (DKNG) and the rest of the speculative i-Gaming/Gambling sector has been under a lot of selling pressure over the past few months… a lot of pressure. On Thursday, DKNG triggered a buy order that filled at $40.68, replacing shares I sold just two months ago on September 7 at $64.08 and locking in a whopping -36.52% discount… like I said, a lot of pressure.
The buy order lowered my per-share cost -3.34% from $45.21 to $43.70. Since my first buy on January 29, 2021 at $52.97, I’ve lowered my per-share cost -17.50%. From here, my next buy target is $34.90, right at a past point of support and my next sell target is $64.00 because, hey, it provided resistance before, right?
DKNG closed the week at $40.51, down -0.42% from where I added Thursday.
Grow Generation (GRWG): Added to Position
Grow Generation (GRWG) bounced around a lot this week after reporting an earnings report generally viewed as mediocre, at best. On Friday, it triggered a buy order I had in place which filled at $23.00, lowering my per-share cost -4.27% from $29.25 to $28.00.
From here, my next buy price target is $20.80, near a past point of support, and my next sell target is $51.00.
GRWG closed the week at $23.64, up +2.78% from where I added Friday.
Wendy’s (WEN): Added to Position
Wendy’s (WEN) sold off precipitously on Tuesday after providing pretty dire profit guidance during their earnings report as a result of supply-chain issues. During the selloff, a buy order filled at $20.79, lowering my per-share cost -3.06% from $25.79 to $25.00.
From here, my next buy price target is at $19.00, slightly above a point of a support, and my next sell target is $28.65, just under a past point of resistance.
WEN closed the week at $21.74, up +4.57% from where I added Tuesday.
