The Week’s Biggest Winner & Loser
Pinterest (PINS)
-and-
Twitter (TWTR)
It was a week for the social media stocks, and when you’re talking about a difference of 0.38% in their gains, there’s no question that both Pinterest (PINS) and Twitter (TWTR) deserve this week’s Biggest Winner spot with gains of +14.39% and +14.01%, respectively, after each delivering blowout quarterly reports.
Tradeweb Markets (TW)
Tradeweb Markets (TW) just sort of made its way through the week, meandering down -2.60% and earning itself the Biggest Loser spot for the week. There wasn’t really any news pushing TW lower, there just wasn’t anything pushing it higher, either.

This Week’s Moves
No Moves This Week!
I know, I know… no moves in the Speculative Portfolio but quite a few over in the Investments in Play? It happens!
This rollercoaster market has been positively insane. Take a gander at this week’s performance chart, and you’ll see that four of the ten positions in this portfolio saw gains in excess of 10% just this week!
With no positions hitting profit-taking targets and none selling off enough to hit buy targets, it’s time to just sit on my hands and wait to see what insanity the market dishes out next week.
