This Week’s Moves

Draft Kings (DKNG): Profit-Taking

After spending weeks under selling pressure, Draft Kings (DKNG) has seen an incredible pop from its May lows, particularly on Tuesday when I took profits using a limit order which filled at $64.08.

The order lowered my per-share cost -12.21% from $51.50 to $45.21 and locked in a whopping +44% on shares I bought just a few months ago on May 10. From here, my next buy target is $40.10, slightly above its May lows and my next sell target is around $100.

DKNG closed the week at $62.46, down -2.53% from where I sold Tuesday.

Palantir (PLTR): Profit-Taking

I was closely following Palantir Technology’s (PLTR) rally over the past few weeks, and took profits when it looked like it might be rolling over on Wednesday with a sell order that filled at $26.19.

The order lowered my per-share cost a relatively minor -1.433% from $24.42 to $24.07, but, more importantly, lowered my allocation slightly and locked in gains of +43.507% on shares I bought on May 10 for $18.25. From here, my next sell target is slightly over $40.00 and my next buy target is down at $17.70, slightly above its last selloff low in May.

PLTR closed the week at $26.28, up +0.34% from where I sold Wednesday.
