The Week’s Biggest Winner & Loser
Virgin Galactic (SPCE)
Virgin Galactic (SPCE) reported an in-line earnings report, but what really caused the stock to take off was the increase in ticket prices.
What used to be an “affordable” $250,000 to take a quick jaunt into space now starts at $450,000 a seat! Plus, SPCE expects to see a lot of return customers!
That kind of cashola caused investors to ignite, with SPCE earning +11.27% and the spot of the Week’s Biggest Winner.
Golden Minerals (AUMN)
Penny stocks are volatile enough on their own, but when you’re betting on a penny gold miner like Golden Minerals (AUMN) and the price of gold drops more than -2% in a single day (Friday), you can expect some serious downward action.
AUMN dropped -8.81% pretty much in a single day, locking itself in for the Week’s Biggest Loser spot.

This Week’s Moves
No News is Good News!
Sometimes, it’s nice to have a week where nothing happens in a portfolio. While I do have all of the buy and sell targets very solidly locked-in for each position, there simply wasn’t enough volatility this week to dictate a buy or sell action.
However, if the precious metals keep selling off next week like they did this week, I fully expect to be adding to my highly-speculative penny-stock basket (AUMN, DCNNF, and FBSGF).
