The Week’s Biggest Winner & Loser

Coinbase (COIN)

You know 2023 is shaping up to be a strange year when Coinbase (COIN), one of the portfolio’s biggest stinkers, wins the spot of the Week’s Biggest Winner for two weeks in a row. That’s right, COIN popped another +10.36% this week on the back of Bitcoin’s seemingly never-ending rally.

Schwab (SCHW)

Poor earnings and growth forecasts are never good for any company and Schwab (SCHW), my own broker for crying out loud, blew it this week. As a result SCHW dropped -7.17% and swung as this week’s Biggest Loser.

This Week’s Moves

Rivian (RIVN): Added to Position

The week’s late selloff pushed Rivian (RIVN) to new all-time lows, triggering a buy order I had in place which filled at $15.62 on Thursday. As I mentioned previously, with RIVN dropping lower, I’m increasing my quantities, so this buy lowered my per-share cost a whopping -24.08% from $39.25 down to $29.80.

From here, my next buy target is $10.10, a price calculated both using Fibonacci Method and for its psychological support of an even $10.00 price point. My next sell target is $35.10, just below a past point of resistance.

RIVN closed the week at $16.23, up +3.91% from where I added Thursday.
